Meaning in Marijuana
The iguana mates for life with a single partner. A chance encounter with an iguana while Sam and Chris share a joint leads into a reflective discussion about some of the issues they both are facing with their significant others. Relationships have so much potential for beauty and satisfaction …yet we many of us in relationships often find ourselves suffering in a so-called paradise.
A House Divided
After wrapping up dinner and changing into to PJs, Sam decided to do a little Bagua swordplay before wrapping up his preparations for his family’s upcoming trip to Costa Rica. Sam and Elizabeth had some unresolved communication issues – issues which are resurrected when Elizabeth approaches Sam to discuss a few a whole bunch of stuff sitting poorly with her. Alas! There is no peace in the realm of Keystone Castle this evening!
Walking and Traveling On
Eat, drink, and be merry. Spending a little time in relaxation is always a good thing…which made a trip to Costa Rica all the more appealing for The Magic of Mastery team. But while you can escape your surroundings for a little while, escaping your problems isn’t as easy. In the end, everything is a sacrifice – even when you’re suffering in paradise.
Playing at the Pool
What do you if you find yourself at odds with the partner that you’ve been blessed with …and you fail to see the significance of the relationship? Well, that’s a prime recipe for Suffering in Paradise – something that Sam, Lizzie, Chris, and Becky have to face. That suffering starts to manifest during what should be a little fun play time at the pool.
The Flashback
Elizabeth reluctantly agrees to come with Sam and Javier to an event protesting Trump’s proposed civil right reforms. Sam and Javier leave to take care of something, and Elizabeth is forced to make small talk with Tammy Shapiro – a Pulitzer-winning journalist with the Mystery City Chalice. Tammy shares some facts with Elizabeth about the heritage of the Lumbee Tribe…and Elizabeth responds, in turn, with a few facts of her own.
